Our team was privileged to collaborate with Universal Fibers on their exhibition booth design for Clerkenwell Design Week in London. The primary objective was to showcase the newly launched product line, their latest sustainability innovations and the booth's design concept centered around the intersection of art and science. Working jointly with four four design, the concept was developed to encourage visitors to participate by contributing to a captivating art installation that evolved throughout the event as more people added their touch to the design.

This project required a complete renovation of a dark and dreary space to create a lively and inviting atmosphere for locals to savor classic Tex-Mex cuisine and watch sports and other events on big screens. The transformation of this space would include brightening and updating the existing interior, as well as adding modern furniture and finishes. Various seating and viewing experiences were planned, including a DJ corner and private dining room with a separate service bar.

One Off Hospitality requested a design refresh for their existing restaurant, SABA Italian Bar & Kitchen. The design intent was to bring life and a more spirited personality into the various spaces by way of layering and accessorizing onto the restaurant's neutral foundation. We developed a narrative with custom art-forward installations and wallpaper design to create warmth and elevated ambiance.

Mr. E's, in Logan Square, Chicago, IL, was conceptualized as the neighborhood fast-casual restaurant serving all the classic Chicago late-night snacks like hot dogs and Italian beefs alongside the lineup of classic beers. The interior design was focused on keeping things simple while creating a nostalgic, retro atmosphere that pays homage to the Chicago late-night food scene. Playful lighting and the color palette provide a light-hearted and upbeat atmosphere. The design included the planning and coordination of the F&B equipment as well as overall space planning to ensure the efficiency of operational flow.

The design for Kidvantage was a comprehensive endeavor in collaboration with four four design. We worked closely with the clients to ideate the project from its initial concept through its development. The project programming included two classroom spaces, a corridor/viewing area, a party room, and supportive back-of-house spaces. The design was to create a stimulating yet safe environment for children's cognitive, confidence, and fitness development, aesthetically inviting and engaging while supporting the children's journey of self-discovery.

The project, commissioned by Bar Lab, was designed to transform the den/lobby space of the Freehand Hotel in Chicago into a space that reflected the Broken Shaker brand aesthetic. To achieve this, custom hand-painted murals were created to adorn two of the main pillars in the room, carefully chosen to capture the natural beauty of the Midwest flora. The mural's earthy colors, featuring dandelions and thistles, creates a cozy atmosphere that is both eye-catching and complementary to the existing environment. In addition to the mural, the space was styled and layered with additional accessories and fixtures to extend the aesthetic tone of voice.

The California Clipper had deep roots in Humboldt Park as its longest standing neighborhood bar. In the change of ownership, the goal was to breathe new life into the space with a subtle re-concept and refresh. The iconic bar was stripped and re-finished, new millwork was incorporated, and classic details were complemented with new lighting, furniture, and accessories. The stage was also brought to life to create a unique and memorable space for nights of entertainment over strong drinks in the spirit of classic Chicago.

This project aimed to transform an old historic horse barn in Evanston, Illinois into a unique and inviting space for a celebrated local restaurateur. To achieve this, the interior design had to capture the nostalgia of the horse barn while creating a sense of discovery for patrons. The concept was developed on the history of the building with furniture, fixtures, equipment, and décor to bring the space to life. Custom-designed millwork was designed to add a unique touch to the interior design, further enhanced with artwork and accessories.

An old warehouse building in Chicago’s bustling West Loop was stripped to the shell, leaving a very raw base for the interior. The space was intentionally left unrefined and built on the concept of capturing the experience of a backyard barbecue. The process involved thoroughly exploring finishes and cost-effective treatments for different materials, allowing the designer to craft unconventional solutions. The end result was an interior design project that provides a relaxed and uncontrived atmosphere.

This sneak ramen restaurant, situated on the basement level of Green Street Smoked Meats, is crafted to provide guests with a unique dining experience. The interior design was tailored to reflect a minimalistic yet bold aesthetic, with dimmed lights and heavy bass music to further add to its character. The space is complete with simply fixed wood seat barstools that lean into Japan's traditional ramen dining experiences. Design services also included light brand development, logo design, graphics, and collateral design.

The interior space was designed with a vintage yet timeless ambiance. Special attention was paid to the details, creating a unique and memorable dining experience. Various classic pieces were selected to help achieve the desired look and feel. When guests enter the restaurant, they are enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a distressed brick wall, vintage lighting fixtures, and classic wood accents. To complete the look, the walls were adorned with various art pieces and a custom-built mural, creating a unique and charming quality. The overall effect was an old-world delicatessen that felt like it had been there for decades.

The space was composed of a mix of vintage and mid-century modern elements, each with a unique story. Details of the furniture, artwork, materials, and finishes were sourced to create a whimsical farm-to-table neighborhood restaurant, both comfortable and timeless.

Working closely with the residential developer/contractor, we curated a sophisticated and market-pleasing palette to bring life to a white box space. The design direction was to provide tasteful finish and fixture selections that would engage a larger audience while giving an exclusive edge in the real estate market. We created a timeless and unique space by utilizing a neutral color scheme and incorporating custom tile patterns.
